CIVIL DIVISION
- Service and Execution of all civil process within the
limits of Levy County, Florida
- Provide a Bailiff for all court hearings.
- Provide courthouse security(Levy County Courthouse)

MOST COMMON TYPES
OF WRITS RECEIVED
- SUMMONS:
- Non-Enforceable Writ. Informs subject that a
lawsuit has been filed against him/her and to appear or file written
response within a specified time.
- SUBPOENA:
- Non-Enforceable Writ. Requires individual to
appear to testify in court
- WRIT OF REPLEVIN:
- Enforceable Writ: Repossession of personal
property.
- WRIT OF EXECUTION:
- Enforceable Writ: "Execution" (Civil Judgement)
- SHERIFF'S LEVY:
- (Instructions for Levy) Directs Sheriff to Levy
upon specific described properety
- WRIT OF POSSESSION:
- Enforceable Writ. (Landlord-Tenant) Commands
Sheriff to put plaintiff in possession of specific described premises.
Foreclosure Actions or Eviction Actions. Non-Payment of Rent or
Non-Compliance of lease or agreement. If residential property, Sheriff
shall post premises with 24 hour notice to vacate.
