We currently have 6 full-time School Resource Officer's working in the 11 schools serving the Levy County school system. The officers are led by Lt. Sean Mullins. Our unit is different from other SRO Programs in that our emphasis is on education rather than enforcement due to our rural nature and low crime rate within our school district. Our sheriffs office concentrates primarily on primary schools and work within our secondary schools when time permits.
