Inmate Rules - The Handbook

This handbook is provided to help answer most questions you may have during your stay in the Levy County Detention Facility. This book is to be considered as a guideline only. Specific questions may be directed to a staff member. We are sure it will enhance your understanding of the daily functions of the Detention Bureau, and make your time here more comfortable.

One of our main objectives is to protect your constitutional rights during confinement. It is also important that you respect the rights of your fellow inmates and staff members.

You will benefit by becoming familiar with the contents of this handbook. It includes the rules and regulations that govern the facility and the individuals incarcerated within.

This facility uses pepper spray and electronic disablers/shields as necessary to effectively subdue and control a violent or potentially violent inmate(s).

This book is the property of the Levy County Sheriff's Office and must be returned in good condition upon your release from the Jail.
